Bangus Overflow

Ang bangus, o milkfish sa ingles. Ay tinuturing na pambansang isda ng Pilipinas. Ito rin ang isa sa pinakamatinik na isda sa Mundo. Kadalasan itong inaalagaan at pinaparami sa fish-pen. At kadalasan ding paborito ng ating mga kababayan.

Subalit nitong mga nakaraang araw, tumama ang bagyong "ONDOY" na may international name na "Ketsana" sa ating bansa. Marami ang nasalanta at namatay. Karamihan din sa mga pangunahing lungsod at daan ay naapektuhan nito. Marami ang binaha kahit na nasa mga nagtataasang mga bahay at naglalakihang mga mansyon pa sila nakatira sa lungsod. Kahit ang mga artista, hindi pinalampas ng bagyong ito.

Kung tutuusin, napakahina ng bagyong ito upang magpalubog ng isang lungsod, subalit, may kasabihan nga, "small but terrible". Hindi dahil sa bugso nitong umaabot lamang sa 55 kph ay masasabing napakahina na nito. Siguro nga, mahina ang bagyong ito, kung ikukumpara sa mga nagdaang mga bagyo sa ating bansa. Subalit, napakalaking pinsala ang ginawa ng bagyong ito.  Ang ulan na ibinuhos sa loob lamang ng 6 na oras, ay katumbas na raw ng average na ulan para sa buong buwan ng Setyembre. Mahirap paniwalaan, subalit, mas mahirap hindi paniwalaan. Sapagkat kita natin sa mga balitang ipinapakita sa telebisyon na talagang malupit ang bagyong ito. Kahit na mahina ang sinasabing bugso.

Ngayon, kung tinatanong nyo sa mga sarili nyo habang nagbabasa kayo nito kung nasaan yung tungkol sa bangus, eh, eto na ang iniintay nyo.

Katulad ng nasabi ko sa may bandang unahan, madalas na inaalagaan ng mga Pilipino ang bangus o milkfish sa isang fish-pen na malapit sa lawa. Kung mapupunta kayo ng Laguna, karamihan ng nakatira sa may Laguna de Bay ay mayroon fish-pen na kung saan ay nagaalaga sila ng mga bangus at kung anu-ano pang mga isda, depende sa kung ano ang uso. Subalit, dahil sa bagyong ONDOY ang mga fish-pen na ito ay nasira. Ang mga bangus ay nakawala. At ang mga mamamayan ay nagdiwang. Bakit nagdiwang ang mga mamamayan? Syempre, mag-iintay nalang kasi sila ng bangus na mapapadpad sa loob ng bahay nila.

Dito sa amin, may karatig barangay kami na lubog sa baha ang lahat ng malapit sa Laguna de Bay. Meron pa nga, hanggang bewang ang tubig sa loob mismo ng kanilang mga bahay. At minsan, maniwala ka man o sa hindi, may naliligaw na bangus sa loob ng kanilang bahay.

Dahil kakatapos lang ng bagyo, at hindi pa nahupa ang baha, marami pa ding mga bangus ang nagsisipag-languyan sa kung saan-saan (xempre sa tubig). At dahil marami pang bangus, hanggang ngayon, swak na swak pa din ang bangus bilang murang pang-ulam. Sa panahon nga naman ngayon, makabili ka ng isang bangus na 1 kilo = 40 pesos. Pag hindi ka nman nasiyahan eh.

Ang kaso lang, hanggang kelan magiging ganito ang ulam ng ating mga kababayan? Hanggang humupa o mawala ang baha? Aba, baka naman lumungad na ng bangus ang mga myembro ng kanilang mga pamilya. Subalit, wala din tayong magagawa dun. Dahil sa hirap ng buhay, mabuti nang lumungad ka ng bangus. Kesa mamatay ka ng dilat ang mata sa gutom.

Kayo, ano ba ang ulam nyo ngayon? Kami kasi bangus eh. :D

Ingat lang sa mga sawa at ahas na nalangoy sa baha ah. Lalo na yung mga taga Cainta, Rizal dyan, ingat sa buwaya na nalangoy sa baha. Baka hindi lang bangus ang hinahanap nyan para makain. Baka tao na.

Hero Nation 2009 on November 30, 2009

The Biggest, the grandest and the most awaited youth convention in the Philippines known as Hataw Hanep Hero has now been decided on where and when it will be held.

Hataw Hanep Hero, also known as H3's event sched and venue has now been decided. But, this year, the convention's name has been changed. Instead of Hataw Hanep Hero or simply H3, the made it sound more grand. They made it Hero Nation. Yep, this year, this convention would be the biggest and grandest youth event.

For now, those are the information that was posted on the thread of Hero Nation, I'll keep you posted if there are changes made in this event. And hopefully, it will be a two day convention, or else, the convention goers would be pretty much disappointed since they have awaited for this convention for ages.

Now, my only problem is how to get there. Hehehe. Since I'm from Laguna, Philippines, it's so much hassle since I think, it would be a 3-4 hour drive. And since we're only commuting, me and my company, it's such a pain in the a** and in the wallet. Hahaha.

The World isn't Predetermined

Is everything in this world really lead to something that has been predetermined long ago? Is it true that one way or the other, your life will be leading the direction that has been decided not by you, but by the world?

If you're a gamer, and I mean, one of those addict gamer like me, you surely wouldn't be missing playing this RPG, entitled, Suikoden: Tierkreis. For those who doesn't know, Suikoden, the game, has been making a fuss on the gaming world ever since it has been released  on 1995. For a brief discussion about this game, I took an excerpt from the database of wikipedia.

Suikoden (幻想水滸伝 Gensō Suikoden^?)  listen (help·info) is the first installment of the Suikoden series by Konami. It is a console role-playing game developed and published by Konami that was released initially in 1995 for the Sony PlayStation. A North American release followed one year later, and a European release came the following March. The game was also released for the Sega Saturn in 1998 only inJapan. On December 22, 2008, Suikoden was made available on the PlayStation Store for use on the Sony PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable consoles.

The game centers around the political struggles of the Scarlet Moon Empire. The player controls the son of a Scarlet Moon Empire general who is destined to seek out 108 warriors (referred to as the 108 Stars of Destiny) in order to revolt against the corrupt sovereign state and bring peace to a war-torn land.^[1] The game is loosely based on the Chinese novel Shui Hu Zhuan.

The game features a vast array of characters both controllable and not, with over ninety characters usable in combat and many more able to help or hinder the hero in a variety of ways.

But, the newest installment of this game is the one I mentioned earlier. Like its predecessor, the player is destined to seek 108 warriors. At the first cut scene, if you could catch a glimpse, the final boss would be saying "108 Stars of Destiny", but as you journey through this game, you would then know that what you are looking for isn't the 108 Stars of Destiny, but rather, the 108 Heroes of the Stars, or to put simply, the Starbearers. 

This game has got me hooked up in its gameplay. Besides for the fact that I love RPG and Adventure games, is because, I think the same way as the main Protagonist. I don't want to think that all of the things in this world are predetermined. Yes, fate might lead us to where we are supposed to be, but I think, that destiny is what keeps us from moving forward, and that we make our own destinies.

Unlike the other RPG games that I have played, what sets Suikoden Tierkreis apart from them is the whooping number of characters that you may put into your party. Every game has its own assets and down sides, but, having as much as 108 characters to test and play, that itself can be its asset as well as its downfall. A friend of mine that recommended me this game told me beforehand, "Para ka lang naglalaro ng Pokemon", yes, I think so too, that I am just playing Pokemon, but with a slight difference. Its like, playing Pokemon, but with Legend of Legaia, Legend of Mana, Final Fantasy IX, Wild Arms 2, and Monster Rancher put together to form a single game. It just makes me dizzy at the same time, tempted not to put down the game console. And, please add Kirby and the Squeak Squad to the games that I have mentioned above.

Oh before I  forgot, for those wondering what game console is this for, it's actually for Nintendo DS.

Another thing that sets this game apart from other games is the way the main character struggles to keep the blood of his company burning with passion. Maybe, its just impossible in the real world, but, we are talking about stories here. He just keeps on saying "We'll never know until we try.". A very short sentence, yet, a very huge meaning. 

So, now I know, that the world is not predetermined, and even if it was, I will burst my way out of that world, forge my weapon, keep my courage burning, fight some monsters to level up, find friends that would fight side by side with me, and most of all, take on the one who determined all of those.

Because, how ever I look at it, having a life that is already predetermined is never fun. It's like, living without really living at all.

Farm Ville Mania? Farm Ville pa!

Dati, Yahoo mail, naging Yahoo Messenger, naging Skype, at nang lumaon, naging Cam Frog. Tapos nauso ang blogging na sinundan naman ng Friendster, na nung lumaon ay naungusan ng Twitter at My Space. Pero, sa ngayon, may isang virtual society na lalo pang sumisikat sa mga pangalan na nauna sa kanya. Ano nga ba ang nawawala sa mga ibinigay kong pangalan sa taas? Kung mapapansin nyo, tama, Facebook. Isa sa mga pinakasikat na virtual society hindi lamang sa bansa, kung hindi sa buong mundo na rin.

Pero, ano nga ba ang Facebook, ano ba ang website na ito na pinagkakaguluhan sa ngayon, na pati na ang mga lalaki, babae, bakla o tomboy, matanda man, teen-ager o bata, may ngipin o wala ay nahuhumaling?

Ayon sa Wikipedia, "Facebook is a global social networking website that is operated and privately owned by Facebook, Inc.^[1] Users can add friends and send them messages, and update their personal profiles to notify friends about themselves. Additionally, users can join networks organized by city, workplace, school, and region. The website's name stems from the colloquial name of books given at the start of the academic year by university administrations with the intention of helping students get to know each other better." O ayan ha, copy-paste pa yan.

Ngayon, alam na natin kung ano ang Facebook, subalit, ngunit, datapwat, mayroong isang bahagi o feature ang Facebook na nakakahatak talaga ng mga members, bukod sa pagiging parang Friendster na pinaganda lang. There are tons of applications in this website that can be used by their members. One of this is a game that goes with the name of "Farm Ville".

For those who doesn't know what Farm Ville is, again, from the database of Wikipedia, "Farm Ville is a Facebook video game developed by Zynga. It allows members of Facebook to plant, grow, and harvest virtual crops and trees, and raise livestock."

This game, is so in demand these days, even in our school, the computers that are made to be used as educational and reference tools, are made gaming platforms by the students. Funny? Yes! Very funny actually. Supposedly, those computers are there for research purposes, and yet, the moment a student opens his/her Facebook account, and browse through his/her applications' toolbar, these computers instantly becomes a true gaming platform with the help of its programs and the internet.

Just earlier this day, about, 3 to 4 PM, my friend brought his laptop computer to type a report for his subject, but, knowing that there is signal in the room where we are making "tambay". He booted his computer, opened his internet browser and surfed to Facebook's portal. But, to his dismay, the signal of the wireless router is too weak for him to be even logged on to Facebook. So, instead of enjoying his farm in this game, he enjoyed complaining about the wireless router's crappy signal.

Even my friend who believes that Facebook is just for girly girls, joined the social network and instantly enjoyed playing Farm Ville. And maybe, just maybe, as I am here in front of my computer making this entry, maybe he's in his room harvesting the crops that he planted on his virtual farm.

Maybe it doesn't hurt to try a different game every now and then. Even if it is a bit girly at first, but, even we enjoyed it, maybe you will enjoy it as much as we do, maybe even greater.

Fallng in-love, make it or break it?

In life, especially in a teen-ager's life, like me (walang kokontra, babatukan ko kayo) there are tons of happenings that even the person himself cannot even comprehend. Life, falling in-love, having crushes, having love problems and the like. Mostly, for a female teen-ager, having a boyfriend is the trend. For them, if you haven't experienced having a boyfriend at the age of maybe 15, it would be a grave mistake, cause, they think that having a boyfriend at that age is the most wonderful thing that they can experience. But, usually, as they travel to the path that they want with their spouse, they make turns that aren't meant to be made. And in the end, leads to them hurting each other, breaking their relationship, or even cursing each other to the depths of the earth. Just because they are hurt.

But, it is a very different story for the boys of that age, usually, in this age, they are still busy playing with their friends. Not the game of hide and seek for example but a rather more mature game, can sometimes be basketball or perhaps baseball, if there is an available lot big enough for them to run like chickens and throw some balls. But, sometimes, this is also the start of spring for them, like the girls, boys can fall in-love at this very age, and also may lead to a drastic ending. Boys, they say are more sensitive than girls are. Maybe that's true, or maybe, it's just their opinion.

After the hardship that both gender has discovered, that both sides has felt, they will eventually hate that guy or girl that gave them that feeling. Just because they are hurt. It may be their first time, but it will surely not be the last. So, most of the times, they tend to disregard the existence of that person, they even go to the point that they are wishing that they didn't get to know the person that made him or her to cry his or her heart out. They can even shout curses while struggling to be as tough as a concrete. 

But, is it really reasonable to do this kind of things? For me, seeing a serious thing like falling in love as a child's play is definitely wrong. Falling in-love is not just laughing and kissing and making love. It is a test of endurance in one point, and a turn slot at the other. It can either make or break you. And usually, it will bring pain to you that even a strike to your stomach can't even mend. You can bleed all you want, and cry from night until dawn, but it will not be enough to put out the fire that has been scorching your feelings. But, it can also bring butterflies around you. It can bring hope and courage the time when you need it the most. Falling in-love can give a meaning to your life, it can bring a will to fight when you feel like cowing to the problems that comes your way.

As teens, both sides can either make or break themselves, this is the most crucial time. This is where we decide on what road are we going to take. Falling in-love is like a life vest that can save you when you are drowning or a stone that can drag you down. It can be a very harsh yet a very good feeling. It can make you stand on top of the world as if you were its king, or it can send you to the pits of despair.

But, the most important lesson of all, is that love always come at the right time. One doesn't have to expect or look for it, but instead, one HAS to wait for it. Because right things come at the right time, hindi sa gusto nating tamang oras, kung hindi sa gustong oras ng lumikha. So if ever you feel you are in-love, don't just ignore it. Who knows, maybe it's your turn to be loved truthfully and unselfishly. But, always be prepared for the worst, but also expect for the best.

Sorry for those people that thinks that this post is a bit weird. I'm in a love-love mode right now. Cheezy!

People are people

Humans are naturally curious in almost everything. Proven and tested. There are things that can't be obtained, yet we keep on trying to obtain it. Masyadong madaming gustong makuha ang isang tao sa buhay nya. Like, gusto nyang makatagpo ng isang babae o lalaki na babago sa buhay nya. If he is a jerk all his life, somewhere in his heart, he wants to change his life, from being a jerk, he wants to be of use. It's too hard to do those things, but somehow, every individual has his shot in life to change how he used to be. The only thing that may hinder that is what "that" person is made up of.

Sometimes, I want to ask myself, am I really from this world? Am I really meant for this world? Kasi, kahit anong gawin ko, I can't seem to grasp the happiness in my life with both my hands. Mahirap at times, but, eventually, naaalala ko na hindi masaya ang buhay kung puro happenings. If an individuals life would be that way, it would just spoil him. Hindi nya malalaman kung ano ba talaga ang ibig sabihin ng mabuhay. Mawawalan sya ng aim sa buhay nya, since lahat nalang alam nyang masaya. Lahat nalang, alam nyang magtatagumpay sya. I love to experience pain. Hindi dahil masarap. Hindi naman ako masokista no! But, what I love is the lesson. Surely, after the pain, a lesson would be appearing in front of you. Sabi nga, IN YOUR FACE! And mas masarap namnamin ang lesson na itinuro sayo ng isang pagkakamali na nakasakit sayo. Kasi kung simpleng lesson lang ng tulad ng mga itinuturo sa classroom ang matututunan mo, madaling makalimutan. And surely, the experience that is being brought by pain, cannot be compared to those experience brought by pleasure.

But, since we are only human, and people will always be people, we tend to bend to things that will give pleasure to us. Kumabaga, "SARAP MUNA BAGO HIRAP". At madalas pa, tinatakasan na natin pag nandun na sa hirap na part. 

Especially pag sa premarital sex. Uunahin ang sarap, tapos pag natuluyan nang lumobo ang tiyan ni babae, bigla nalang iiwan. May mga kakilala ako na ganyan ang ginawa. Naglaro ng apoy, pero ayaw panagutan yung abo. But, if they did the opposite, and instead of driving their curiosity to its limit, maybe their couple are promised to a different future. Away from suffering brought to them by the consequences of premarital sex. Please excuse my example. I think, it's the best comparison or example I can give on this matter.

Humans, as I have said is very curious, most of the time, he will sacrifice everything for the sake of knowledge. Another example for this are the technological advancements throughout the world. Yes, we need technology to live our life with ease. But, that doesn't mean that we have to sacrifice the natural resources of the world just to make our world more advance. And if we continue doing what we are doing these days, then, the next generation will have nothing but technology within their grasps. Soon, the day will come, when there will be nothing but concretes replacing our forests, smoke and smog filling our air, and oil and floating cups and cans filling our oceans. And soon, this world won't have anything but pollution.

Humans, I know are curious and I think, it will not stop to where it has taken us now. But, if we want this race to continue beyond our dreams and expectations, somehow, we have to try to be considerate. I know the future generations would want to see green forest and blue oceans once they enter this world. But, they won't see those beautiful things that this world has offer us if we just kept on doing what we have done to the forest and oceans in the past. Yes, I know that people will always be people, but, can't we even try to be humans even just for once? We need the innovation that technology will give us. But, if we are not careful enough, this technology that is meant to be helpful will just be the destroyer, not just of the human race, but it also may be the destroyer of the whole world itself.

People will always be people, but sometimes, I only wish that humans can set their curiosity aside and think about their environment. As I have said in my previous posts, humans are a little bit lower than the angels, and humans will make the call if he wants to keep this world spinning, or lead this world to its extinction.

Eleksyon 2010: Boboto ka ba?

Babala, ang akdang ito ay bawal sa mga taong madaling maniwala sa mga sinasabi ng ibang tao, lalo na kung ang taong iyon ay kakandidato sa darating na eleksyon. Kung sakaling tamaan kayo ng mga sinasabi ko, galingan nyo nalang ang ilag sa susunod. Nagsasabi lamang ako ng totoo at wala akong binaggit na pangalan ng kahit sino. Salamat.

Malapit na nman ang eleksyon, marami na nmang nagpapalakas at nagpapalapad ng kani-kanilang mga papel sa gobyerno at sa mga mamamayang Pilipino. Pero, ano ba talga ang mga dapat nating malaman sa mga tatakbo sa dadating na eleksyon? Paano ba natin malalaman kung talagang totoo ang mga sinasabi nila sa kanilang mga "INFORMERCIALS" at sa kanilang mga "PRESS STATEMENTS"?

Bibigyan ko kayo ng mga sa tingin ko, eh, magagamit nyong basehan sa pagpili ng mga iboboto nyo sa darating na eleksyon sa susunod na taon.

• Una, siguraduhin na totoo ang mga sinasabi nila sa mga INFOMERTIALS nila. May mga INFOMERTIALS ngayon na lumalabas sa TV na maaaring totoo. Ngunit maaari din na panloloko. Unang-una na jan ang may lyrics na, wag na lang. Hahaha. Maaari nga naman na hindi laking mayaman ang mga kandidato sa pagkapresidente ngayong eleksyon na dadating, pero parang hindi naman ata ako maniniwala na walang kaya ang mga ito. Lalo na kung ikaw ay itinuturing na isa sa mga pinaka-mayaman na tao sa Pilipinas.

• Ikalawa, maging mapanuri. Hindi dahil gwapo, pwede na. Hindi dahil sexy at maganda, iboboto na. Anu naman ang magagwa ng kagwapuhan o kasexy-han sa pagpapaunlad ng ating bansa o ng ating mga pamayanan? G&#o ba kayo? Ang iboboto nyo yung mga magaganda ang muka at ang katawan? Ano ba ang maidudulot nyan sa ekonomiya ng ating bansa? Maaahon ba ang bansa natin sa hirap kapag mga gwapo at magaganda ang iboboto nyo? Anak naman ni Goldilocks at Papa Bear oh! Wag kayong tumingin sa panglabas na kaanyuan. Imbes, yung kakayahan ang tingnan nyo! Hindi tayo mapapakain ng kagrapuhan at kagandahan.

• Pangatlo, hindi dahil sa walang pinag-aralan, wala nang magagwa para sa bayan natin. Sa tingin nyo ba, ang mga matataas lang ang pinag-aralan ang may karapatang maluklok sa posisyon? Sa tingin nyo ba talaga, ang mga may natapos lang sa pag-aaral ang maaaring tumulong sa ating bansa? Maging mapanuri tayo. Hindi dahil sa walang pinagaralan, wala nang magagwa para mapaunlad ang ating bansa. Tingnan nyo nga si Sponge BOB, kahit isang sponge, at walang pinagaralan, alam nya kung anung tama at mali. Para nga lang xang tanga, kasi tawa ng tawa ng walang reson, at kinakausap ang isang "snail" (yun nalang, baka kasi sabhing bastos ako eh, kung yung isang term ang gagamitin ko) na na-ngiyaw ng parang pusa.

• Pang-apat, hindi dahil sa mayaman na, hindi na magnanakaw ng yaman mula sa ating bansa. Tandaan, nabubulag ng pera ang lahat ng tao. Lalo na yung mga nasa posisyon. Yung mga bwaya nga lang, gagawa at gagawa ng kwento para lang may UBE silang pang-miryenda. Pero, hindi ko din naman nilalahat. Siguro, may konti pa ding tao na hindi ganon ang ugali.

At ang pinaka-maduming paraan, "eto po ang relief goods para sa inyo, mula kay chukchak-chenes", nahirapan na nga ng todo ang mga kababayan mo, sarili mo pa ang inuuna mo, LETCH! Ah, may isa pa pala, "nagpapaabot po ng tulong si tooooooooooooooooooooooooot para sa mabilis nyong pag-galing". LANGYANG yan, kailangan mo pa ba ng sakit bago ka tumulong?

• Pang-pito, kung talagang tapat ang isang kandidato sa kanyang tungkulin, hindi nya uubusin o gugugulin ang pera ng mamamayang nasasakupan nya para lang mangandidato. Hindi nya gagamitin ang perang dapat ay nakalaan sa ikakabuti ng mamamayan ng kanyang pook para lamang magpagawa ng mga banners, leaflets, fliers, at kung anu-anu pang election paraphernalia. Mukang mahirap manghanap ng kakandidato na ganito.

Paano mo masisigurado na susunod sila sa sinumpaan at nilagdaang papel nila sa isang istasyon ng telebisyon habang naglalakad ng magkaka-kapit bisig? Papel lang naman yun.

Unang-una, maaaring sabihin na napilitan lang silang lagdaan yun dahil nasa NATIONAL TV sila, ^&#*$*#@^, kung yan lang ang magiging reson nyo, sana hindi ka nalang sumama dun sa event na yun. Sana, sinabi mo nalang na may sakit ka at hindi ka pwede. Kesa naman sa magsinungaling ka sa taong bayan.

Pangalawa, maaari rin silang gumawa ng istorya na ang kapwa kandidato na pumirma sa papel na yun ay lumabag din sa napagkasunduan. LINTIK ka naman talagang magisip, tao ka ba? Tumanda ka ba ng walang napagkatandaan? Alam mo na ngang mali yung ginawa nung kapwa mo kandidato, gagayahin mo pa? Iayos mo nga ang utak mo. O di kaya, pag mag-iisip ka, tumayo ka muna, baka kasi nauupuan mo ang utak mo kaya hindi ka makapagisip ng maayos.

Yan ang sa tingin ko, eh, dapat maging pamantayan natin sa pagpili ng mga ihahalal na leader ng ating bayan at ng ating pamayanan, pero, sa bandang huli, mismong kayo pa din ang magpapasya, magpapadala ba kayo sa mabulak-lak nga ang dila pero basura naman ang laman ng utak? O sa isang 500 piso, kung ang buong buhay naman ng inyong mga anak at minamahal sa buhay ang malalagay sa hirap? Kayo ang magdesisyon kung ano ang pipiliin nyo.

At para sa mga tao jan na hindi pa rehistrado na tulad ko, wag kayong maging manananggal sa araw ng eleksyon. Flying Voters kumbaga. Kung nais nyong bumoto at marinig ang boses nyo, magparehistro kayo. Pero babala lang, mahaba ang pila. Hehehe.

Adobo lang ang ulam.

Adobo, isa sa mga pinakapaboritong ulam ng mga Pilipino, madalas, manok o di kaya, baboy.

Pero hindi lang yun, nakaimbento din ang mga malikhaing isip ng mga Pinoy ng iba pang lutong Adobo. Isa na dito ang adobong mani. Ay nako, napakasarap lalo na kung merong sili at hindi sobra ang kaalatan. Nakagawa din ang mga Pinoy ng adobong balut. Na imbes na sisipsipin mo ang sabaw at dudukutin mo ang sisiw sa loob ng itlog, eh, kakagatin mo nalang. Pero akalain mo ba nman, pati ba naman insekto, gawing adobo ng mga pinoy? Oo. Tama ang nabasa mo. Insekto, pero hindi lahat ng insekto, kundi yung tinatawag nilang Camaro. Hindi Camaro na uri ng sasakyan na katulad ni Bumblebee sa Transformers ah. Kung hindi yung mga cricket na nagsisi-talunan sa sulok-sulok  ng mga lumang bahay. Kahit nga adobong bituka ng manok, naimbento na ng Pinoy na masarap kainin lalo na kung merong suka na may sibuyas at sili. Naglalaway na ko dito ah. Buti nalang tapos na kong kumain, at Adobo ang ulam. Hahaha.

Alam na ng lahat ng Pinoy, kahit bata o matanda man yan na isa sa mga nagpapasarap sa adobo ay ang suka, hindi ako marunong magluto. Pero alam ko naman na iyon ang isa sa mga nagpapasarap nitong ulam na ito.

Ang adobo, kahit kilala na dito sa Pinas, ay hindi lamang dito matatagpuan. Sapagkat, ang adobo, ay nakarating na din sa iba't-ibang parte ng mundo. Sa USA, sa ITALY, baka nga kahit sa NORTH POLE, nasubukan na nilang mag-ulam ng adobo. Kung itatanong nyo kung sino ang nagpakilala ng putaheng ito sa ibang bansa o sa mga dayuhan. Aba'y sino pa nga ba? Gamitin nyo naman ang mga utak nyo. Edi ang mga Pinoy din. Alangan naman na ang mga PUTI, mga ITALYANO, o mga PENGUIN at SEA LION ang mga nagdala ng lutong ito sa kani-kanilang mga lugar. 

Kung iisipin natin, napakasarap ng ulam na adobo. Tapos mainit-init ang kanin mo, at mayroon kang katabing isang pitsel ng malamig na tubig. Para panulak pag-nabilaukan o nabulunan ka dahil sa katakawan mo sa adobo.

Nga pla, di ba meron na din atang Adobo flavor na Pizza dito sa atin? Ayon sa search ko sa google, California Pizza Philippines yung gumawa ng ganitong uri ng pizza. Tunog Ingles at Italyano, subalit panlasang Pinoy.

Ngayon ko masasabi na the BEST talaga ang Pinoy sa buong mundo. Kahit sa kalokohan o sa kagalingan man. At sana, ipagmalaki natin ng taas noo na ang ating lahi. Marami mang naging kaliwa't kanan na pananakop at impluwensya sa ating bansa, alam natin na ang Pilipinas ay tumayo pa din sa kanyang mga paa. Sa abot ng kanyang makakaya.

Ikaw, ipagmamalaki mo bang dugong Pinoy ka? Ipagmamalaki mo bang galing sa atin ang Adobo?

Habang nakain ako ng Adobo at kanin. Buong pagkatao kong ipinapaalam sa buong mundo. Pilipino ako. Pilipinas ang bayan ko. At Adobo ang ulam ko. Hahaha.

O pano, kain na din kayo, at naway mayroon kayon katabing isang pitsel ng malamig na tubig ng sa ganoon, kapag nakagat nyo ang paminta sa ulam nyo, hindi kayo gaanong maanghangan. At babala lang, yung ulam lang ang kinakagat, hindi ang KATABI, ang KATAPAT, at lalong-lalo nang hindi ang DILA nyo.

English is the second language spoken by us, the Filipino.


Pero madalas, may mga tao pa ngang mas alam ang salitang Ingles kesa sa salita ng ating bayan. Salita ng ating mga bayani. At salita ng ating mga ninuno. Ano nga ba ang pagkakaiba ng Ingles sa Filipino? Maliban sa magandang pakinggan ang Ingles, pang-sosyal (para dun sa mga social climber, o sa Filipino, unggoy na sosyal xD), wala na kong maisip na iba.

Sabi nga ng karamihan ngayon, halos dumugo na ang ilong nila kapag nagsalita ng Ingles ang mga KONYO (sabi nga ng DAKILANG EHEMPLO KO), hindi dahil sa maganda o tuwid magsalita ng Ingles ang mga ito. Kundi, masyadong pinagmamalaki sa iba na marunong silang mag-Ingles. Ano ba ang tingin nila sa ibang tao? Tinitingnan sila? Hahaha. Pero yung mga pasosyal lang naman, mas lalong dudugo ang ilong ko sa mga yun, minsan pati tenga ko, halos dumugo na din. Bukod kasi sa ang sakit pakinggan, hindi ko pa maintindihan kung ano ba talaga ang gusto nilang sabihin o iparating sa iba, hindi dahil sa hindi ako marunong o nakakaintindi ng Ingles. Kahit nga Hapon, mejo may alam ako, kaso, wala na kong magagawa dun sa mga unggoy na sosyal na nagpupumilit magsalita ng isang lengwahe na hindi man lang nila naiintindihan.

Hindi sa galit ako sa mga unggoy na pasosyal. Ang kaso, sana lang kung hindi nila alam kung paano magsalita ng tuwid na Ingles, wag na sana nilang ipagpilitan o di kaya, pag-aralan o pag-isipan muna nila yung mga sasabihin nilang mga salita. Nang sa ganon, hindi naman sila mapahiya sa mga kausap nila na mas may alam sa kanila sa salitang Ingles.

Malihis naman tayo ng konti dun sa mga unggoy na pasosyal. At mapunta naman sa mga kapatid nating galing sa ibang lugar ng Pilipinas. Masasabi ko na para sa mga baluktot ang dila itong parte na ito. Siguro hindi naman nila kasalanan kung baluktot ang mga dila nila sa salitang tagalog na minsan, may mga magsasalita ng BALLPEN na imbes na yung tamang tunog, eh, nagiiba bigla, nagkakaroon ng BULPEN o di kaya naman ay BOLPIN.

Siguro, kahit na pilipitin natin ng plaes ang dila ng mga taong ito, eh, wala nang mangyayari, katulad nga ng sinabi ko kanina, hindi naman nila kasalanan yun. Aaminin ko, napapatawa ako pag mayroong nagkakamali sa  isang salita na alam ko ang tamang pagbigkas, subalit, hindi ba dapat, imbes na laitin natin, eh, intindihin na lang natin. Madaming isla at parte ang ating bansa, at bawat isa sa mga ito, ay mayroon kani-kanilang dayalekto na alam nating hindi madaling intindihin. Ngunit, hindi ito nanga-ngahulugan na hindi na natin maaaring intindihin ang mga taong ito. Pwede natin silang intindihin, yun ay kung gusto natin. Ngunit habang hindi natin ito naiiwasan, pare-parehas pa din tayong magkakagulo sa mundong ito at ang bansang ito ay hindi magkakaisa kung patuloy na aakyat ang mga unggoy na pasosyal at kung patuloy nating lalaitin ang mga taong baluktot ang dila.

At bago matapos ang akdang ito, gusto ko lang ulitin, ang mga UNGGOY NA PASOSYAL ay mga SOCIAL CLIMBER sa INGLES.

At ang tamang pagbigkas ng BALLPEN ay BOLPEN at hindi BOLPIN o BULPEN.

A life filled with lies

Lie, a thing considered to be a sin in the Christian world. It is considered as a taboo and often immoral. But, can a lie really be avoided? Can it really be considered as a sin or a taboo?

A lie (also called prevarication) is a type of deception in the form of an untruthful statement, especially with the intention to deceive others, often with the further intention to maintain a secret or reputation, protect someone's feelings or to avoid a punishment. To lie is to state something that one knows to be false or that one has not reasonably ascertained to be true with the intention that it be taken for the truth by oneself or someone else. A liar is a person who is lying, who has previously lied, or who tends by nature to lie repeatedly.

Lying is typically used to refer to deceptions in oral or written communication. Other forms of deception, such as disguises or forgeries, are generally not considered lies, though the underlying intent may be the same. However, even a true statement can be considered a lie if the person making that statement is doing so to deceive. In this situation, it is the intent of being untruthful rather than the truthfulness of the statement itself that is considered.

Actually, in my own opinion, a lie is an essential part of a man's life. Itatanong nyo kung bakit? Kasi sa tingin ko, wala pang tao na hindi nakakapag-sinungaling sa buong buhay nya (well except to those unfortunate babies na konti lang ang nilagi sa mundong ito). On with the post. A lie can be avoided at times but not through a life time. Mahirap hindi magsinungaling sa mundong ito na alam mo nman na kadalasan ay hindi din totoo ang ipinapakita sayo.

Sa panahon nga ngayon, hindi mo na malalaman na ganito pala or ganyan yung dapat mong isipin tungkol sa ibang tao. Kasi, madali nang imanipulate ang mga sasabihin mo sa ibang tao. Madali nang magsinungaling sa ibang tao nang hindi ka nahuhuli. One can live a life filled with lies. Without even worrying what the world would say. Ganun ang gingawa ko ngayon. Hehehe.

Lalo sa mga nangyayari ngayon na hindi mo naman alam kung sino talaga ang tao at kung sino ang nagpipilit lang maging tao sa harapan mo. Saka, pano ka naman hindi makakapamuhay sa isang buhay na puno ng kasinungalingan, eh halos lahat ng bagay sa paligid mo, puro kasinungalingan. Lalo na kung katulad nga ng sinabi ko, hindi mo alam kung sino ang talagang totoo pag kaharap mo.

Sa totoo lang, I don't consider lying as a sin. But as a necessity, kung tatanungin nyo kung bakit, well, d ko masasagot yan dito. Might as well, ask me personally nalng. Wahahah. But, really, I consider it one HELL of a necessity in a man's life. Sa tingin ko kasi, walang taong hindi kayang hindi magsinungaling. Coz,at times, a lie can even save our lives. Although mahirap i-imagine na ang isang fabricated story or fabricated thing or reasoning can actually pull you from a pinch.
