Good day to all of you guys. Sorry I haven’t updated this blog for some time. May mga nangyari kasi na pumigil saking magupdate nito. Isa na dito yung wala akong maisip na topic for a blog entry. J Pero fortunately, ngayon meron na akong naisip. Since yesterday was my graduation. I figured out that my topic for today’s entry would be about graduation. Parang pinagisipan ko ng ilang gabi eh no? Well, jokes aside, simulan ko na itong topic na ito. Pero before I officially, start this entry, syempre warning muna tayo J.
WARNING: Katulad ng mga nakakaraang entries ko dito sa blog ko, malamang na magout of the topic na naman ako. Pero rest assured, I will try to stick to the topic as much as I can, and if there’s something that you find offending in this topic (although much of the time, some offending words come crashing here and there) you can always use the comment box below to leave your opinions and of course, your comments. ENJOY!
Since this topic is about graduation, let me quote an excerpt from the quote of Mr. Orrin Hatch, he said, “Graduation is not the end; it’s the beginning.”. Indeed graduation is just the beginning. Since we (at the Philippines) spend most of our time in school, we are always guided and always protected by the school bounds. And now that we are out of the school. The real journey begins. The real challenge will come. And the real boundary has been set. Surely we will try to escape from that boundary when time comes. But since we are new to “this” real world, we would be thinking that this world is huge, and that we are just a speck of dust. I think it is natural to think that way since it is our first time setting our own foot in these lands. It’s like being an alien to other nation. But soon enough we would be able to mingle in this new nation we are now in.
Since it’s graduation, surely there will be awards and honors that will be given to certain people who stand out in the class or in the whole school. We may think that some of those awards are not meant to be given to their awardees, but awards and honors are just like toppings with no meanings in real world. Sure, people will think that you gave a great effort in attaining the said awards or honors, but in the end, the expectations are too great for a single person. And soon enough that honor and award will start the downfall of the said individual. As the people around me have said, “Honors doesn’t mean anything in the real world.” but then, I will say, “Honors doesn’t make a difference, skill, effort, perseverance and courage does.” Honors can be attained by anyone as long as they read their notes, do their assignments, make their projects and understand everything needed in a subject, but by the time that there are no notes, no projects, no books, just understanding, can an honor really keep up the honor or award given to him/her when she graduated from school? Only the one who has that distinction can answer this question. Besides, his/her way will always depend on his/her decision.
Graduation for college has ended our days in school but created a beginning for our days in the real world, the society. And since we have graduated from school, the day right after the graduation, the graduates is officially, unemployed. J
Graduation really is an end but also a beginning, although it contradicts the quoted lines. Maybe we can’t see the friends that we made in college or in high school or in grade school that much. But surely, we are connected by the bonds and the ties that we made during those years. We are connected by the memories we made. And we will forever be entwined by the friendship that we share with each other. By these statements, I am ending this short entry, to show you some pictures of our graduation ceremony yesterday. Enjoy!

Before I end this entry officially, I would like to leave some messages to those who will be reading this entry in the near future.
To my family, thank you for always supporting me. For being there for me when I am at my worst, and not leaving me despite my rants. Thank you for giving me the courage I need when I tend to give up. Thank you for teaching me the necessities in life. Without you, I think I won't be standing on where I am right now.
To my friends, guys, it has been a wonderful five years in college. Thank you for the laughs, the smiles, the shouts and the fights. With you around me, there is never a dull moment. Thank you for supporting me and understanding my selfishness. Thank you for accepting me and not asking me to change. It has been a meaningful journey. But this is not yet the end. Hence, it's only the beginning. Hope to laugh with you in the years to come.
And of course, to my parents, thank you for loving me. Despite the fact that I am not the best, despite the fact that I am always a prankster, you gave me the attention I needed, you loved me without asking anything back. Thank you for understanding this happy-go-lucky son of yours. Thank you for supporting me in times when I seem to fall down. God knows how much I love you. And how I am grateful and honored that you are my parents. I can't thank you enough. But I am thankful in any way I can.
And before I burst into tears giving my gratitudes to those who accepted me, I will say it one more time.
CONGRATULATIONS BATCH 2010!!!
CONGRATULATIONS TO US ALL!!
